The Pa. Family Support Alliance, the state’s leader in child abuse prevention, on April 2 awarded Nancy Reitzel with the Blue Ribbon Champion for Safe Kids Award, given to four individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to support and protect Pennsylvania’s children. Reitzel is an early childhood education instructor for Cumberland-Perry Area Career & Technical School and provides instruction to students on how to care for preschool-aged children. Reitzel was recognized at a special event at the Capitol Rotunda.
