Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance Welcomes Vibrant Pittsburgh COO as Newest Board Member

Lora McKnight joins statewide board to #ProtectPAKids from abuse

HARRISBURG, Pa. Pa Family Support Alliance (PFSA), the state leader in child abuse prevention, today announced the appointment of Lora McKnight to its Governing Board of Directors.

“We are fortunate to have Lora’s expertise and talent on our board,” said Angela Liddle, PFSA President and CEO. “She is a fierce champion for diversity, equity and inclusion, and is committed to helping us advance our mission of ensuring that Pennsylvania’s children have the opportunity to grow up in environments free of abuse.”

Lora is the Chief Operating Officer for Vibrant Pittsburgh, which accelerates Pittsburgh’s business community toward equitable, inclusive and diverse workplaces. In this role, she has helped to drive change and advance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across the greater Pittsburgh region. Lora developed and facilitated a variety of programs to accelerate the adoption of best DEI practices.

“It’s an honor to join PFSA as a member of its board,” Lora said. “As a mother, I want to do everything I can to ensure that Pennsylvania’s kids are protected from abuse, and helping PFSA to educate parents, educators and those that work with children to play positive roles in keeping children safe.”
